Agenda Summary:  A way to meet other folks who are engaged in work to find a just and equitable peace in Palestine and Israel, including an opening plenary with Brad Parker from Defense for Children International and Dalit Baum from the American Friends Service Committee.

Presenters Included:

  • Brad Parker – a staff attorney and international advocacy officer at Defense for Children International – Palestine. ​ He spoke about ​No Way To treat A Child, ​(Defense for Children International-Palestine)
  • Dalit Baum, Ph.D., Director of Economic Activism, American Friends Service Committee. She is a feminist scholar and teacher, who has been teaching about militarism and about the global economy from a feminist perspective in Israeli and American universities. ​She shared with Brad Parker in a presentation about ​No Way To Treat A Child.
  • Lia Tarachansky, a Toronto-based film-maker, shared her insights on communicating across conflict to help better engage people who are skeptical and/or downright opposed to the work that we do.
